This weelk i tried to organose a dinner at the Golden Grove Tavern for all my friends and me to get together, because I am going away to the Uk for an extended holiday, I just wanted to have a meal with them and have the chance for all of us to catch up before I left. I have a group of mates theres about 12 of us all up, so I booked a table for 14 just incase there were extras and emailed everyone to let them know when to rock up, most responded with yeah sure well be there and I was happy about that, there were a few who couldnt make it but they sent there regards and apologised which i really appreciated.
Yesterday I got an email from one of my closest mates saying that he couldnt afford to come to dinner and go to the car drag racing on the weekend aswell so he had chosen not to come to dinner, that shit me off but I kinda understood where he was coming from, I mean why catch up with a mate for dinner when you can go look at fast cars?! Anyway... that wasnt that much of a drama.. however when my best mate rang me today and said that he was to tired, it was to hot and to far for him to come out to dinner that really upset me.. I mean fuck! I didnt think that my closest friends would just not rock up, after all im going away for possibly never to return, I wasnt asking much I dont think?
well, I cancelled the booking so me and my girlfriend are just gonna chill out tonihgt and watch some tv at home.
